That is bizarre - I distinctly remember doing that aaages ago and wondering what door it opened and yet it's back in place covering the switch :?
In the basement I had to pick up the coffee cup lid at least twice too after reloading a save after picking it up each time.

Not sure if it's just me :?

I don't think anyone has asked this, but where EXACTLY do I place the mouse? I am assuming the mouse goes under the shelf and though the crawlspace, but I do not know where to put the mouse. I tried every possible place near the cat. Thanks

shandroid: You're thinking right, but: Face the cat, AND stand in front of the rug. (You know you did it right when the mouse scurries off into the wall).

Thanks, Mulf, but I have tried everything, in every position, and the mouse just sits there. Maybe it's glitching, but I can't get it to work. :(

The game has its fair share of glitches, but the mouse worked for me. [Edit: Eventually. I did have problems there, too.]
It''s all a bit hit-and-miss, sadly.

the most stupid question at last from me...:
I've collected one ghost from the cemetry-area from behind that gate I opened ages ago by lightning the torches.
(I like non-linear gameplay, but.... )
Where is the 2nd ghost?????

Where should I place the mouse (I don't know where the room with the cat is)?

Well, then I search for a waterbag :D I got as far as I could on my own in each level, but now I'm totally stuck - never solved the pushable puzzle, nor found the shovel, nor the torch in the church level (although it's possible to take one from the cemetery with you), nor the dough.
