MagPlus - Redemption - Beneath the Fortress

Post by José » 04 Nov 2013 14:19

I'm in the area with four bridges, but I'm not stucked.
My problem is that my health bar is almost empty, and I'm being attacked by a couple of Azazels.
I think:
Is there a way to use the Vitality Cristal I have in my inventory ? (It consists of 4 green crystals)
Otherwise I think I'll never can finish the game. :(

In this level there is limited Health and ammo. But once you know... you will find out there is enough to gather.

The trick is NOT to open every chest with health in it.
Keep them closed if you have enough health and remember where they are.
The 4 green crystals only give you more health if you find a health chest. And when you find another 4 crystals, the health increases even more.
A nifty trick with battling enemies is to shoot them with one (or two) shotgun bullet and then use the pistols.
Be aware there are some fierce battles at the end. So sorry José, it looks like you are in big trouble. :(
Oops, I did it again... Image

Ok. Thanks Gerty.
Meanwhile I could avoid the tile which triggered the Azazels, saving this way some health. :D
I'll follow your advices.

I am in the area with Kaleel (or whatever his name is - forgot). I have just activated the 4th eye and the timer. I have no idea what to do - I tried racing to the middle of the room where another green orb is - I get there before the time expires, the orb rises, but nothing else seems to happen. what am I supposed to be doing here?

If you touch the green orb before timer reaches 0, you get full health (well depending on the vitality crystals you have), and KAMAEL, his true name ;), looses health. Then you have to repeat at least 2 times.
If you have enough ammos (and secrets) you can end the fight with weapons, avoiding to repeat another time the whole sequence of 4 switches. But, be carefull of his 2 little bros ;)

There are enough ammos inside cages behind the 2 little waiting demons ;) So, keep the fight, you'll get rid of Kamael with the switches... And when his bros come up, run and pick up pistol ammos.

2 ways to go to Azazel's Lair :

1. longest way : when exiting Kamael's room, turn left and make you way back to the outside (as vimmers says), then go back to the room with 2 rotating statues and re-enter level 2 from there (as you did before). BTW, you can solve other puzzles in 1st level before returning to Azazel's lair, if you like ;)

2. shortest way : when exiting Kamael's room, go straight away and re-use the chains (ropes) to swing on your right

Most important thing : always remember where you came from and where you are ;)

I'll follow your advices.
For these creatures...Like harpies, run into a corner of walls and turn around, with your back in the corner wait for them to get close, shoot them. They can't harm you in a corner :D
