Spike, I missed the room first time around too. In one of the underwater areas (sorry to be so vague) there's a hole in the ceiling that takes you to a room with a floor lever. Hope you remember the one. Anyway, there's a passage way in that room too. Glad I'm not the only one that missed it. :D

I think I know the one you mean. :D

But so far I have one blue gem, one scroll and the effigy handle. :-P Hopefully I'll find some more items soon.

Yes, don't worry, you haven't missed anything. You'll find everything else you need once you do the next part.

I found the timed run to be easy. When you go the right way you will make it with time to spare. Jack your directions are for the long way and waste time.

So close, yet so far away. :|

Can't seem to grab this ledge, and behind me is only a closed door...

Edit: *sigh* Forum effect...I was going the wrong way the whole time. :?

Now I'm trying to do the oh-so-infamous timed run.

...ok, aftter breakfast I'm going to do it now. Your short way I guess leads over the slope-combination we entered this area?

The timed door :

Stand on the tile facing East. Run to the slanted block and jump over the right side of it (no grab)

Slide and jump with a right curve to the next slope. Slide and jump/grab the long platform. Pull up.
(You can save your game when Lara pulls up here)

Run on the long platform and jump to the sloped block ahead , slide on it and jump with a left curve to land on the long platform behind the fire burners.

Run on this long platform (the fire burners are on your right) and at the end jump with a right curve to a sloped block , there is a series of 5 sloped blocks to do, on the 4th one jump with a right curve and back flip on a flat block against the wall.

Turn towards the timed door North. Slide and jump to the continuous ledge and run to the door.

This timed door is not tight , you don’t even need to use the dash key once

thanks eric!
Meanwhile I did it. (jack's way at the 2nd try. It's possible, but you really need the dash-key..... :D ) :)

Yes, it's great to have different ways of doing things, and to have inventive players :)

space for individual solutions is always great.
So it's great to have inventive builders who allow that...... :)

Thank you eRIC for posting the route for the timed run. Right now I have so little time to raid I look for the shortest way possible. A big :2thumbsup: for the players that took the other route.
