your levels have never been boring, Ruediger. I have a room whose walls are textured like stone. This seems like an ideal place to hide a block that should be pulled out to reveal a switch or whatever. How do I make the block a pullable (pushable) one ?

rooms, but no glamor

I can't find the info on how to make pushable objects (like blocks) - do I need a special wad for this ?

I'm building lots of rooms, but they sure are boring.

thanks Tony - I'll check into that now that I know what to look for. here's another one, if you have the patience for it (and yes, I am trying the search feature first before asking) - how do you build a series of walls that have the crack that allows Lara to shimmy ? Excellent ! Found a wad merger ...

I'm afraid my ignorance is showing again - I thought a wad
was a completed set of rooms. aren't there separate object files with each level ? Like, there's the croc in the coastal level, etc.

customizing object files

Is there a tool similar to the TBuilder that allows you to customize an object file ? Was this the old TRWest device ?

is there a more precise way to control the zoom feature in the LE - the page down, page up button ? It's either too close or two far !

thank you Idealist. I see that we have Wadmerger available here so I'll see what happens in an attempt to build a custom object wad - I noted that there were two versions - a beta and alpha - no idea what the difference is. does it matter ?

If I use the tutorial wad to build my game I know that I can "import" textures, but can I also add to my tutorial object file ? Where do I save the object download ?

when the level editor first arrived I spent hours exploring the tutorial, building my own little rooms and generally just played. Things like lighting, creating scripts, etc. seemed way above my head. you've all heard me say how I'd love to build my own game. here's the question then - with all of y...
