Re: Rewarding builders with a donation button in level pages

Interesting idea and indeed I agree this is not about "selling", hence no issue at all with the trle legal statement, but about people voluntarily donating money to a person who has made their creative worl available online for others to enjoy. But truth is - you do not need me for that. You can sim...

Re: Welcome to the new trle.net 2020

Hi Michael, I am a graphic designer and have experience working on websites. Would you like some constructive feedback here or via PM? Re: Welcome to the new trle.net 2020

On the subject of authenticating reviewers - it was talked many times before and it is indeed those people who get hung up about it that should look in the mirror and think about why they do... trle.net has operated on trust for many years and done so successfully. Yes, it has been misused, but when...

Re: Welcome to the new trle.net 2020

Hmm- right - maybe I should NOT actually have asked for feedback.... or should have expected that change is more typically seen as a bad thing by most people... I will try to ignore all of the comments for a few days and then read them again through a lense that tries to find the actually constructi...

Re: Welcome to the new trle.net 2020

Thanks for the early feedback - I can certainly live with "more modern" and "intuitive" :D :D I have "opened the doors" now for everyone to look and see and play around with the new design. Not everything is 100% ready/done, but largely this is it, so again - let the feedback come in here (good and ...

Welcome to the new trle.net 2020

Thanks for your patience while the site was moved to a different server and underwent a bit of a redesign.

Still not fully done, but I believe most of the key elements are working the way they should - please use this thread to post any issues, comments or feedback :)

HAPPY RAIDING!
Michael.

Re: BtB2020 - Public Choice Winner - Voting

Entirely your choice - in fact I guess some may already have.... Given the comparably small amount of votes, it does not actually matter all that much, I think. This poll was a test to see if more people would bother voting if it is made so easy and anonymous for them (versus taking the time to writ...

Re: How is this appropriate critic behaviour?

Good comments from everyone and I liked especially how Samu and StormChaser articulated very well how I would also believe builders should think about the topic of reviewing in general. And frankly, the very vast majority of the builders probably does handle this extremely well. If you think back ab...

Re: How is this appropriate critic behaviour?

Just adding my 2 cents on the subject of the 10s.... We can of course have endless philosophical discussions about what's right and wrong here, because there is really no right and no wrong per se. What I would personally like to see in reviewers - and I have said that many times before - is consist...

Re: How is this appropriate critic behaviour?

*sigh* I will add two comments only and then shut up: #1 I think Jake actually has a point here and I agree Phil can do better than responding to that in the way he just did... #2 I think that point - and the reply to it - should have been and should be discussed between Jake and Phil in private and...
