Re: Enemy slots in a WAD file and their behaviour

Hi I had 3 different enemies I wanted in my level, but all were in SAS slot. I copied the first one from SAS object into BADDY_1 and MESHSWAP3 slots; second one from SAS object into BADDY_2 and MESHSWAP2 slots and the third one is still in SAS slot. Now I can use all the three without any problems :...

Re: Tomb Raider Chronik Sounds (Samples)

On my old WinME, SoundJack can read the level files from disc, but it seems you need to copy the *.TRC files to your HD and remove the 'write-protected' attribute if you're on XP or Vista. Removing the READ ONLY attribute from the TRC file property worked. Thanks a ton Mulf :2thumbsup: EDIT: Was ab...

Re: Tomb Raider screensaver

Sorry to bump

I had once downloaded a Lara croft 3D screensaver way back in 2001, and it was infested with viruses.

So I would recommend a malware check after downloading any screensaver, and do not download anything from any suspicious websites :)

Cheers

Re: Quick flyby question

I think so its quite possible, though I haven't tried it myself. You can trigger a rolling ball once the camera triggers and then have a FINISH trigger and Heavy trigger on a block (a region of the slope), so that when the rolling ball rolls over the block the level ends. Re: Issues with Inventory items and Crossbow animations

I have reverted back to the original TR4 revolver :), and it works without any problems. As for the crossbow anim, I suspect Animation2(animation editor) in CROSSBOW_ANIM as there is no animation in that slot, I replaced crossbow_anim from another source(that of a grappling gun I was able to find on...

Re: Issues with Inventory items and Crossbow animations

The general idea, however, is that the original revolver object consists (as I said) of four meshes, the weapon itself, the lasersight, and two more meshes originally intended to allow for a combination of weapon and flashlight, but this latter option has never actually been implemented. At any rat...

Re: Ni Hao Shiyue / Hello October!

Hi everyone,

Its quarter to 1 am, I celebrated the festival of Diwali over here at India, its the festival of light.

Burnt crackers for an hour, had sweets, snapped a few pictures, in short enjoyed it with my family and friends.

Feeling a little tired atm, so signing off for now.

Gud night

Re: Issues with Inventory items and Crossbow animations

Hi Mulf, :jump4: Thanks for responding, you are a true saviour  , kindly go through my inline comments 1.) You would have to edit the object itself—the original SIXSHOOTER_ITEM has four meshes (you need at least two in order to separate the lasersight from the gun itself), while this one appe...

Issues with Inventory items and Crossbow animations

I hope there isn't a rule over here not to open multiple threads one after the other. Well I am facing few issues with the inventory items. Any pointers on solving this would be helpful :bandana: (Each problem is followed by a screenshot) 1. I am using a revolver object (Download: http://www.t...

Re: Enemy slots in a WAD file and their behaviour

:hi: Titak

Thanks for the reply, I looked up at the MESHSWAP obj in my WAD and I think when I replaced my SAS object in BADDY1 slot, it was the MESHSWAP due to which the baddy looked idiotic.

PS: Can TROOPS be used for AI_AMBUSH and AI_FOLLOW ?? :?
