Re: Back to Basics - Northern Legends - Registration

The package will contain everything that you need for building - audios, samples, texture set, wad, ngle, exe, converter etc...
You'll simply unzip the downloaded file and start building right away. No extra files or programs needed :)

Re: Back to Basics - Northern Legends - Registration

Here's my wish list of builders who have not signed up to date. It's necessarily incomplete, because I can't think of everybody. And I know that some are in retirement, but it would be nice to have them emerge and bless us with the fruits of their talent. Horus [...] Well, I certainly feel honoured...

Re: Back to Basics - Northern Legends - Registration

Please be careful about sharing your ideas/plans for your level here, we'll release the levels anonymously at first so the players can guess who built what level ;)

Re: Back to Basics - Northern Legends - Registration

I think we usually have about 60-70 registered builders and only roughly 20 of them actually manage to submit their level on time ;)

Re: Back to Basics - Northern Legends - Registration

I build with TREP and NGLE-Version 1.2.2.2 - it works super! by the triggers I make "Hide Constants List" and so I can make old triggers, without to use TRNG. This version gives more texinfos and the bigger TGA set as the oldier I can recommande highly this version of editor Can you send that versi...

Back to Basics - Northern Legends - Registration Closed

http://tinulin.de/btb/nl_signup.jpg The registration for Back to Basics: Northern Legends is now closed :balloon: The building phase will be approx. 4 months from early October 2012 to until Jan/Feb 2013. That depends on the amount of people signing up for this and how things are going during the b...

Out of curiosity: do you work with the NGLE+TRNG or the original LE/TREP?

Re: Texture animation range issue

Nope, that can't be the problem, I have had my water textures in all kinds of spots in the TGA, I never had any troubles. The only thing the first few texture spots are special for, is when you build a train level (because the ground will be generated with those textures I think). But did you by cha...

Re: "busy signal"

Those are moiré patterns . No way around them as far as I know, because the moving/noise that these textures produce is based on their pattern (-> frequency of the stripes for instance) and the screen resolution (-> the pixels try to display that perspectively distorted pattern and fail to do so pro...

Re: Easter Class

I mean the wordcloud isn't informative enough, so the tags would be better :D Like I argued a couple of weeks/months ago in another thread, a tagging system is definitely needed as the categories just don't do the job of classifying the levels anymore. In the time when there were no wad editing too...

Re: TRNG / NGLE discussion thread

Hey, I use distance fog in my level but now all transparent objects that are far away (ergo affected by the distance fog) glow brightly :( I already use this script line: Customize= CUST_FIX_WATER_FOG_BUG, ENABLED And it works for the textures in the map, but not for the object textures. Is there a ...
