Re: Hello, my 3 day August road trip

These photos are gorgeous. I wish I could visit the Mt. St. Helens area...a unique geological icon :jump:

Re: Bonjour Septembre / Hello September

Good morning everyone. I'm so excited about my senior thesis project as a geology major ^^ However, I need to make sure that I rest enough if I want to perform well this semester. I need to organize myself. The most beautiful song to hear first thing in the morning is Terra's theme with vocals from ...

Re: August! Shank of the Summer.

@Val Yes I am back. :) It's great to see you too. :hello: For the first time in a very long time, I managed to get some rest this summer, and I'm learning how to destress better. I'm going back to school tomorrow (senior year in university), and I'm definitely looking forward to some of the classes....

Re: August! Shank of the Summer.

Congratulations Nadine! :2thumbsup:

I'm going to karate class later on tonight.

Today I spent some time studying geology (learning how layers, structures, rocks and landscapes form is really exciting).

Re: August! Shank of the Summer.

Welcome Jessica. Glad to hear that your exam went better than expected. Concerning the owner of the site, he really sounds weird and paranoid (and unfortunately, paranoia is more mainstream than you think). Yes, there are lots of people out there who want to believe in stuff that has no link with re...

Re: August! Shank of the Summer.

Thank you bene and Pat. :) Concerning my first year, the first semester was great, but the 2nd semester was a stumbling block, especially in chemistry. The last two years were pretty rough in many ways (aside from academics), but I did learn from those experiences, and I think I'm forming a more sol...

Re: August! Shank of the Summer.

Thanks for the welcome back, Jay. :)

Yeah I came back because I regained some interest in the level editor. But I see that once school is back in session, I will have to put it off until Christmas due to lack of time (I need time to follow the steep learning curve).

Re: August! Shank of the Summer.

Hey Eric and Oxy! :hi: Oh wow...I see that my standards are really going to have to get higher at that rate. I admit that I was trying to play some of the older levels because I felt like I needed to redo my gameplay foundations, my building blocks...I thought the rest would come later. I will need ...

Re: August! Shank of the Summer.

Hello everyone. I haven't been around in a while, but playing Tomb Raider Legend made me want to reinstall the level editor, I have been playing some levels these days, and I finally have an idea on what to make as a third level (though I don't know when I will ever make the Lost Library wad based l...

TRA revived my enthusiasm for the official Tomb Raider games (I didn't buy TR6 because I heard horror stories about the game controls, but the beautiful screenshots and gameplay descriptions in some magazines motivated me to buy TRA). I admit that I am enjoying TRA with the same Tomb Raider spirit I...

Thank you for the advice. :) I have found a peculiar bug. :-o The camera only works if one reconverts Valeria.tom (once before playing and once when the player arrives in the room with the switch. But then again, there are 179 rooms, including the flipped rooms :sweatdrop: ). Thus, I've decided to p...

jumpswitch+timed door+camera (the camera isn't working)

Hello everyone. I'm doing a timed run where Lara needs to reach an area before a door closes. The timed run is working, but when I flip the switch, the camera (which is meant to show the door) doesn't appear. :| I've put a switch for jumpswitch (30:0), a trigger for door_type2, a trigger for a basic...

horseman's gem

Good evening everyone. I'm having trouble prying a horseman's gem (in my level, it will be called "Valeria's Heart"). I know that the OCB is 2, but I can't seem to attach the gem to the wall (the gem is floating mid-air) and I can't pry it with my crowbar. Is it actually possible to pry a horseman's...

For those who don't have Paintshop or any program of that kind (note: this is my case), I recommend the Easy Graphic Converter version 1.2 in order to convert TGA files into JPG files. :)
