Re: to admininstration

The link works - it just seems that their English site is down - I get the same error when trying to access the English site from the original German one :(

Re: Happy Birthday MichaelP !

I'm not much of a happy-birthday-er - but this calls for an exception - so happy birthday, Michael, all the best  :jump: :party2:

Re: to admininstration

Are you, perchance, implying this is not important? :stunned: She could've gotten away with it if it was not for us (um... well, me?) meddling kids!

Re: to admininstration

For a change, I'll actually contribute something constructive in this part of the forum :rolleyes5: Jay's review for JMN's Tomb Raider: The Nightmare ( here ) is identical to her review for TimJ's The Nightmare ( here ). I don't know if she's reviewed TimJ's level and it has been overwritten with th...

Re: Easter Class

This is also problematic. Many levels would fit in many tags. Many levels would get similar keywords. Example: as the number of levels will increase and increase, thousands of them might be tagged as "classic". The searcher types "classic" and he is nowhere close to finding what he wanted. Why not ...

Re: Level Crashing

There used to be a 3rd party tool called TRWest, that was meant primarily for creating wads - but it also had an option to decompile *.dat files into *.txt files. BUT - if you are about to create your own scripts - you don't need this - you have to start with modifying the Script.txt and English.txt...

Re: Easter Class

So You don't know - because I mean exactly what You wrote here. I mean the wordcloud isn't informative enough, so the tags would be better :D Fair enough - but the wordcloud is such an easy target, it's so hard to resist saying something about it :D You have too much time, don't You? Me too -...

Re: Easter Class

Yes, the wordcloud is sometimes funny to read. I know what you mean - but the crucial difference here is that the tag-cloud on review pages is a somewhat automated system that pulls out frequently occurring words from reviews - and thus is more representative of which words are used more frequently...

Re: Easter Class

It's not like if I was obligatorily willing to have a "Horror" category. Those names I gave were suggestions only, and I wrote them for the same reason You are worried for - the need for consistence. ... Once again, those names I wrote are plain examples, not my will to be done. Ok - I concede ther...

Re: Easter Class

I don't have anything against an "Easter" or Easter and Christmas combined in a "Seasonal" category - but as far as the other suggestions go - I find "Hardcore", "Isolation", "Surival" too vague and interpretative; the "Mystery" category we already have is already inclusive of the "Horror" category,...

Re: Level Crashing

Normally I'd like to know more information about what changes you made before it started to crash - did you place something in the project map? Changed script/english? Modified the wad? But if it is the loadscreen as you suggest - then there is one loadscreen you can always use with any level withou...

Re: London Marathon 2012

Well done :2thumbsup: Personally, I'm even terrified of the memory of the compulsory whole-school 3 km running stretches we had to do annually :stunned: So anyone running that much voluntarily is basically doing magic as far as I'm concerned

Sort by Review Count?

I (very (very)) vaguely remember this may have been asked before - so pardon me if it has - but would it be possible to add an extra column in the level listing that shows you the review count each level has and allows you to sort by it (meaning - highest to lowest/ lowest to highest)? Apart from lo...

Re: Bravo Alarm (TR5) - by Peppigno Rafiele

I had my suspicions that this was the door both you and SSJ6Wolf referred to, but I wanted to make sure before I proceed. The button in the same general area is *supposed* to open the door according to Fexinspect, but it does not for whatever reason  I ended up going about it the same way ...
