Thank you, next time I use the editor I will certainly use that. And it works for spot effect too, I hope? Thank you!

Ah! I'm glad! So with the top light bulb IN High and the bottom light bulb with ON clicked so it doesn't affect surrounding objects? Thank you!

Thank you for the help, but I think I worded my question badly.
I would like the light to effect Lara, but not from the bottom, from the top, like a street light. Altering the normal light into a small area defeats this objective as it can't reach her! Therefore it looks so bizzare..

This happened to me aswell, I just CTRL ALT DEL ended the setup and played as usual. The sound was crackly so I thought I had corrupt it.. so I reinstalled it. I THINK that when you go into the Task Manager there is the program DXSETUP or something similar which is trying to load maybe? During the s...

Street Light Effect

Dear everyone, In a level I'm trying to create, I'd rather like a street light effect for a road in development. At the moment I'm making do with a normal light, altered to yellow and minimum space so it's like a spot; unfortunately, it's on the floor so the light would affect Lara and the car! I tr...

PC version controls aren't really that bad if you use a controller. With a D-Pad though it's hard to, you know, analogue control and all that. Graphics were gorgeous, I agree! I felt the Tomb Raider 1 spirit tried to return, but with the horrible updated characters and Lara shooting people she had K...

There's a collector's edition?! I just spent almost 20 bloody quid on Anniversary a few days ago and now there's a new version! Maybe with new outfits et cetera... too bad there was no pulsating walls in Atlantis..

Well, I'm glad I don't have to bother with PCI and AGP thingies now, because... fabulous news! I finally got it working! You see.... I thought those two little jumper things were the CMOS reset, but they weren't, even though the sods placed it next to the CMOS RESET label. I found it next to an IDE ...

I sincerely thought that AGP surpassed PCI, maybe not PCI Express though. Are normal PCI slots still on motherboards?
Progress is not a good thing for computers.. although it can run programmes faster, it's still a nightmare of money.

But I've not even started on AGP yet! I'm sure they are just there to allow Graphics Cards to exceed the most expensive AGP ones.

The processor and gigabyte of RAM I think are all right, but I'm not so sure about the hard drive nor the graphics card. I don't know what on Earth SATA is, and my current motherboard doesn't even have a PCI Express slot! Anyway, I was under the pretence that AGP 8x was a better slot, maybe. I just ...

All right, I'll have to get a different motherboard then. I've been thinking about scrapping it completely and getting a new PC, but they ain't half expensive in the shops; besides, it's cheaper to build a PC, I think. The majority of my games are old ones anyway, which is why sometimes I want to ki...
