Re: TRNG- MK2- Requests, bugs and discussion

@eTux; it is a meshswap which can be seen for a splitsecond in game, and also by opening the WAD in StrPix I assume you can see the different, "dead Lara" textures. Maybe the request is a little morbid! I was just thinking of realism.

Re: TRNG- MK2- Requests, bugs and discussion

How about this?

Diagonal walls. (I know they would not be ordinary, they would be as the ones in DXtre3D)
Collision on statics when riding vehicles.
The ability to have enemy's body stay behind after death.
A meshswap for Lara's death, as seen in TR1 when a rolling ball passes over her.

Lottery Prediction on C4 UK

Surely anyone living in England has heard of Darren Brown appearing live on TV tonight to predict the lottery numbers before they are drawn. What do you think? Can he do it? Or is he full of it? He seems awfully sure of himself, to go live on air and attempt it, but it seems a little fishy to me, fo...

Re: Favorite Poems, Books or Authors

The series beginning with Flowers in the Attic is one of my favourites, yet I don't know if it is based on a true story. I hope not!

Re: Things that 'do not work' in the TRLE

Pardon my ignorance, as this is may seem a silly question...has anyone tried tracking down people who worked professionally on the TRLE engine to find out more about it? I know it's disbanded now, but usually people in the computer trade have their own websites and email address and are friendly eno...

Re: TRNG- MK2- Requests, bugs and discussion

I've always thought it'd be lovely if you could place many, many triggers on one spot...and also place special triggers on the same spot... ;)

I don't know if it is possible though. If only we had the source code... :anxious:

Re: Favorite Poems, Books or Authors

I prefer authors such as Frances Burnett, Lewis Carroll and Frank L. Baum. I just adore fantasy worlds and stories where things go right for the characters. I'm also partial to that story Journey to the West by Wu Ch'eng.

I do fancy misery sometimes, so dabble in Virginia Andrews. ;)

Re: Lara's friends(but not all).

To be honest, the first three games, (especially the first where she didn't even have Winston), felt like Lara didn't have any friends at all. She didn't mention any, and didn't require help. It made her seem a lot more independent and stronger. In Legend, Underworld and AOD she relies too much on p...

Thank you for your help Fluen. That is clever, using a rolling ball to trigger another sequence...

With the river rotate, I was talking about the feature available in NGLE editor, underneath the Animations Ranges bit, you know? I didn't think you had to edit the script to make them work...

Re: Flyby Camera Errors driving insane!

Thanks for the tip, Horus! I'm having yet more difficulty. I swear these cameras are laughing at me... I am at camera number 17. I cut to camera 19 jumping over a dummy camera. Yet it goes straight back to camera 0 and loops forever. Help! Before I kill them all! All right... I don't want to spam th...

Re: Flyby Camera Errors driving insane!

I have tried both ways... That is: 14 with Heavy Trigger and normal trigger, but to no avail. My main concern is that the fly by cameras won't break out of the loop. I have selected 0, 2, 6, 9 and 10, and one shot trigger, yet they persist in looping! They hate me! Could the project be faulty? Its c...

Re: Flyby Camera Errors driving insane!

Yes, I'm afraid I already placed it as a Trigger and also as a one shot.

I set the first camera up originally as:

Seq 0. Number 0.
OCB 0, 6, 9, 10.
What does the 2 do?

Also, I did put 14 for heavy! And also set the trigger as heavy! It doesn't work for some reason... May I go mad now?

Flyby Camera Errors driving insane!

All right, here's the deal. I have set up a sequence of fly by cameras in my level. There are twenty of them, thereabouts. There are two "jumps" which work fine. However, this cameras refuse to work commands, that is, the little numbers you click at the bottom. Therefore, the sequence of cameras goe...
