I believe the rooms where the horizon must be visible must be marked "outdoor" (the o-button if you have forgotten). Have they somehow been reset? Just a desperate attempt to help. Not at all. I use a very basic test-level for the purpose - only two rooms with nothing but Lara, the baddy2 and the pickup. Hmmm...maybe he went crazy with loneliness....

I even made a fresh wad and tried - no luck. This fellow is really picky. Horus, what OCB did you give your baddies?

eTux, you suggest I place the item on the same block as the baddy will pick it up. But isn't he then not instantly carrying the item? Will he actually bend down and pick it up? I did some testing on the baddies recently. As the manual says baddy1 picks up small medipacs and uzi ammo. But what about baddy2? The one I tested didn't care about a single pickup of the general ones. But he has a pick-things-up-animation with the same state-ID as the one for baddy1. I wonder what...

If not, what level is he in? I've noticed that in the very first level he waits for Lara to be only one block away before he carries out his touch-the-wall-animation.

What enemies trigger heavy triggers right away?

I'm trying to determine what enemies that trigger a heavy trigger just by running over it. No setup with AI-nullmeshes.

So far, I've learned that the sphinx (bull) and ahmet does.

Any other enemies?

No, Michiel has written a tutorial on how it can be done with WadMerger.
Basically one has to remove the "die"-command from the dying animation.

...Or the enemy is the kind that stay visible after death. I learned that an enemy that stays around once it's dead (like TR2-enemies) don't trigger switch-triggers.
