Thats rather cheeky Uvavoo!!... Jon...well ofcourse you can use a fixed camera with a timer so that the player cannot break out of the camera view until the time runs out, or they leave the trigger. As far as the camera shaking...I really do not know if it will or not. It would seem to make s...

If you set up a regular camera, not a fixed camera, and place a timed trigger for the camera, it will work as many times as you want it to as long as you dont use the "one shot" button. Using the "one shot" button will insure the camera triggers only once. A fixed camera is usually used for an area ...

Those ocb numbers are for flyby cams, just use a FIXED camera and trigger as normal. :)

Some or most keys will not stack, a second key of the same type will just replace the first key, so you have too make sure a key is used before the 2nd is available. Another rolling ball trick...seems there are quite a few of these. Don't know what to tell you, I've had balls fall through floors on ...

Well I think you are mistaken..lol. I'm suggesting he use a TT and trigger it with a -5 in the timer, then put the enemy trigger under the TT!!

Yep. If you are going to build your texture sets by hand (which is what I do cause I'm on a Mac) you really need to set up guides with a "snap to" feature in order to line up the textures in exactly 64X64 pixel intervals. Your jpeg looks like some of the textures are mis-aligned which you will reall...

I've used them up high before, but with a ledge underneath them. Which ofcourse is high only because the rooms are stacked. I think they have to have a floor under them or Lara does fall through.

You need to add a new Lara object to your wad using wadmerger for instance. A tool which you will need to learn how to use.

If you are new to this, and level building in general, I suggest you worry less about how Lara looks, and concentrate on learning the basics first.

First off...congrats!!

You need an audio editor which will allow you to add a few seconds of time to both beginning (fraction of a sec.) and end of the track, preferably using a 'fade in' and 'fade out' function. :)

Switch type 1 from the Library Wad is one of my favourites and can be timed. :) I believe the floor/lever switch can be timed as well.

On the other hand I doubt that push button switchs can be timed, however I've never tried. :)

Not sure exactly what causes this either, but I have experienced same problem at times. If one looks closely at the texture its actually part of the Play Station Symbols sometimes found on the last rows of official TR tgas. Re-texturing will fix it, but often all it does is just move the afflicted t...

One thing I've documented with my own building style is, that if both my AFB (6million +), and Room text infos are high (260-300), its a very short level. But one high count is ok..i.e. So if my AFB is around 5.2 to 5.7million, then the text infos can be in the 260-300 range. On the other hand if th...
