Ooh, I see. I didn't even remember that there is Tomb Editor. I might give it a try.

Diagonal walls

Hi, I have been playing recently BtB2020 levels and I noticed that several levels contain diagonal walls as you can see in the example below. How do you create these? I was trying to find tutorials about collision in TRNG but I only found the ones that teach you, how Lara can walk on top of various ...

Re: Samu- Forgotten Island

I'm glad you like the game. There is a symbol above every of the three doors that can be opened with four chains. There is also a one door, which does not have a symbol above it, but that door can't be opened with chains. This is where all the three doors are: 1) On the lowest level in the wide outd...

Re: Samu- Forgotten Island

Hi OldNick

The logic behind the 4 glyphs puzzle is the following: If you overlay all the 4 glyphs on the walls and if the resulting symbol looks the same as the symbol above the door, then the door will open.

Re: Samu - Lost City of Ubar - Part 2

Eddy's description is correct. After accessing the room with slamming doors trap, the idea is to use the 3rd switch to rotate the 3rd rotating room so that one doorway opens to the room with slamming doors and the other one to the final room with a key. The camera which is activated when using the s...

Re: Samu - Lost City of Ubar - Part 2

Here's the map. The quality of the picture is not great but hopefully you get an idea of where to go. After getting into a room with slamming doors arrive back to the 3rd room and rotate the 3rd rotating room so that you get access to the final destination. Then follow the red path in the picture. I...

Re: Samu - Lost City of Ubar - Part 2

It seems that many people are finding this level too difficult even though I actually tried to make it easier than my previous levels. Anyway, I will quickly draw a map of the rotating room puzzle. Hopefully that makes solving it easier. :)

Re: Samu - Lost City of Ubar - Part 1

The exit is under the tile which you lowered by using the switch in the lava room. You have to raise the tile and then get under it by using the newly opened route.

Re: Samu - Lost City of Ubar - Part 2

Once you have found the torch you have to get it into a room where you can see the flame. Here's a hint:
The tile in the biggest middle room will open two timed doors. One in the upper ledge and one in the little room containing a skeleton on the floor.

Re: Trigger groups are not working properly

Thanks for the tip. I will keep that in mind and try it when I need to move objects next time. I think I will however, use my current set up for this puzzle, since I got it already working after hours of trial and error.

Re: Trigger groups are not working properly

What action trigger did you use? Is it the same which didn't work for me (Turn immediatly <#>object of (E) degrees in clockwise) or some other?

Re: Trigger groups are not working properly

I actually noticed that it is indeed the action triggers that are not working. Object orientation was resetted after reloading if I used this trigger: Turn immediatly <#>object of (E) degrees in clockwise. However, everything went fine if I used this trigger instead: Turn <#>ANIMATING moving slowly ...

Trigger groups are not working properly

Hi, :) What I'm trying to create is a switch which activates multiple action triggers to move several objects at once. I have exported all the action triggers to my script file and triggered the correct trigger group withing NGLE. Everything works fine except when I save my game and load it. This ca...

Re: Problem with transparent textures

Thanks for the link. I just needed to add one script line to fix the bug. In case someone else has this same problem, simply add this line to level section in your script: Customize= CUST_FIX_WATER_FOG_BUG,ENABLED

Re: Microstutter and dropped framerate in Tomb Raider 4

I'm using Windows 8 and I have this exact same problem with custom TR games and also with several other games. Usually it helps if I change V-sync settings on NVDIA control panel but for custom TR games this doesn't work. I have also tried changing many other settings which Stalgren already describe...
