Advanced Outfit Building- Please help

Hey guys. Long time no see. Well I've posted on TRSearch about this as well, but basically I'm building a Doppelganger remake. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd254/ladyhorus/doppel3.jpg http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd254/ladyhorus/doppel2-1.jpg I've run into a little problem though. Every ...

Ah, yes, I have found both watches and the other bonus items from the level(s). :) Now I'm wishing I'd found the key to the museum first lol. Oh well. Thanks for helping me out rjb and vimmers. :)

Help?

Well I've found pretty much everything, and last thing I found was the lock pick from the museum. I picked a lock at a door, and got to here... but felt like there was no where left to go in particular, except to areas I've already been... Am I missing something? Even after shooting out the windows...

The most I use trep for for my own enjoyment is, for instance, just changing the font hex values, the flare color... make it so the enemies don't disappear when they die to bring back the feeling of the old TRs. I usually leave the drawing distance at the default. I extend the vertex values, check t...

Heh well, when I started out the first I played was TR2 demo on the PC, using a keyboard at that. I played all the TR's up to AOD on my computer until I realized I needed a graphics card for anything higher, which is really the only reason I played Legend and Anniversary on my PS2 instead. Honestly ...

Hmm, well as far as original characters or original objects etc, are concerned, I wouldn't mind that much if credit were clearly given and I was asked first. Most of the time I'm happy to share my work as I know that while I learned from others I think others would probably be able to learn from my ...

weren't they all under the same animated obj though? I ripped the wads from the cutscenes and there were two fish per single animated slot...

but yeah anyway, it can be done somehow. I hadn't thought of the seaweed idea though... sounds like that's a good option too.

In theory you could make an animating object with multiple meshes, each their own seperate parent or whatever (in other words they arn't connected like with bones or something), then animate each one on its own... not sure if that makes sense. There's something similar in TR3 that I can think of, wh...

really? weird... Yeah, I had been resaving using MS Paint but the quality was terrible (still is...). I guess I'll have to reinstall PS7 and try saving in BMP with it like you said... that's not a bad idea.

I wish there were an easier way to fix this problem, though. :/

hmm... well at least I'm not the only one? lol Thanks for the tip though... actually, I tried saving as a Mac bmp instead of PC like I had been, and it ended up working out okay ... which is odd, but who knows. Unfortunately PS isn't writing the files with very good quality (for 24 bit) but at least...

"Stream Read Error"? please help. :(

Well, I've been running into a problem when trying to import custom textures into Strpix and even when trying to use the Tbuilder program... I used to have no trouble with this but lately when I save my images as bmp's, and then try importing them, I keep getting a "stream read error" message from S...

Anyone well versed in outfit creation? I need some help plez

(plez=please, just couldn't fit it in the title) Well I posted a topic on this in the forum at trsearch.org... but I thought I'd ask here too in hopes that someone would be able to help... I have made outfits before using joint meshes but it's been a while since then and I'm pretty sure I'm doing ev...

ah, thanks piega. ;) I have already made a few outfits, most I've had to leave the joints out because I needed to edit them more than I know how to. I was creating male characters, which is why I couldn't use the joints for Lara. ^^; It would look a little strange. Thanks for your help though. :) Pe...

How do you create custom joint meshes???

Well I've tried contacting "the masters" about this question but normally don't get a responce. xD I'm just wondering how you create custom joint meshes for Lara, such as what Trangel, PoYu, Trinity, and other outfit creators have done. I can't seem to find a tutorial anywhere (and I've looked trust...
